[Application-profiles-ig] Filling out "basic"

All, I started a github project for the basic requirements. [1] My thinking (and I'm quite willing to change) is that we would go over the basic requirements and complete those, possibly even implementing those as a vocabulary, and then move on the the medium and advanced requirements. My feeling is that as we work on the basic requirements we will also see solutions for some of the more complex ones, but if we begin will all requirements we might get stuck puzzling out edge cases. Looking at the list of basic requirements in the project it became clear that the list is not complete. I added a use case [2] and some other requirements (linked to the use case) for the human-readable information that I believe fits with some of our discussion. Please suggest other basic requirements that seem to be missing from our list. What seems to be lacking now is a general proposal for a machine-readable structure. In my early attempt [3] I used a simple spread sheet to document the profile entities and properties. I don't know if we want to continue in that vein and would love to hear suggestions from the more implementation-minded participants of this group.
