All, Apologies for this late posting - it's been a bit hard to concentrate lately, and I'm sure it's not just me. We'll keep working here as long as folks are able to do so. In that spirit, here are the minutes of the meeting of March 18 [1]. Thanks again to Tom Baker for capturing much of the discussion. We made some basic decisions and had some pretty in depth discussions of areas that need work. First, the decisions: 1. RESOLVED: Separate Value Type and Value X (name not discussed). We will have two columns covering value - one for the value type and one for any additional constraints on value, such as pick lists, URI stems, etc. 2. RESOLVED: Value Type is optional - property-only is okay. Having decided #1 we also agreed that the only required column of our template is the property. This is now reflected in the formalisms document. [2] As for discussions, we had a discussion about how to include namespace declaration for IRI prefixes in the CSV in such a way that the full IRIs are available to programs but at the same time that the CSV is valid as defined by the CSV standard. [3 ?] If we create "creative" csv there are standard tools that will not be usable, and we create considerably more work for implementers. Of the ideas we are contemplating are: 1. have prefixes for each table in a standard format in the same folder as the table 2. define a set of prefixes that conversion programs should recognize, a' la prefix.cc The model that we are working on right now is all subsumed under the simple prototype folder in our github repo. [4] We could use some more examples/mockups there if you have a moment to contribute something from your community space. If you aren't able to contribute directly to the github repo you can post here or, if you wish access to the repo, contact tom at tombaker dot org for permissions. I think that captures it.
