你好,虽然我不愿工作小组在基因ral I'd like to participate to this one, so I want to briefly introduce myself: * I'm doing research and development in the largest library union network of Germany, working a lot with bibliographic data, authority files, data formats, APIs and the like. I still do a lot of programming but more and more specification * I have a long background in the Wikimedia community (I still remember when Wikipedia was so small anyobody could write new articles about everyday topics), being active especially in the Wikidata project * I wrote my PhD about methods of structuring data such as data models, data formats, schemas etc. and I'm interested in non-quantitative properties of data in general The concept of an application profile still puzzles me a bit because the difference between a new data specification and a profile of an existing specification is rather irrelevant for a computer program that has to handle data conforming (or not conforming) to some specification and/or profile. I'm hoping to broaded my narrowed viewpoint on this with your help! Looking forward, Jakob Voß
